Did you know that ticket sales typically cover only 25% of our day-to-day operating costs? When you make a tax-deductible contribution to the RSO, you help to support an indispensible art form.

If you are at least 70 1/2 years old in 2011 a part of the Tax Relief Act of 2010 allows you to make a tax free transfer from an IRA directly to the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra. These gifts can fulfill some or all of your required minimum distribution without increasing your taxable income. So, you can save taxes while making a contribution to the RSO. If you have questions please contact the RSO office at 203-438-3889.
The RSO Foundation provides ongoing support via an endowment fund; for information on contributing to the endowment, please see Legacy Giving.
