Driving directions to the ANNE RICHARDSON AUDITORIUM
at THE RIDGEFIELD HIGH SCHOOL

From Ridgefield Center
*Main Street in Ridgefield is Route 33 - 35. Going North on Main Street (towards Danbury) drive through the Historic District until you get to the junction with Route 116. Drive approximately 4 miles on Route 116, always bearing left. At this point you will see the High School on your right on the corner of Ridgebury Road. Parking is available at both ends of the school. Guides will be available to direct you to the auditorium.

From Points North
Take I-84 West to Exit 3 onto Route 7 South. Take 7 South to the light at Route 35 (by Belzoni's Grill) and take a right. Follow Route 35 to Ridgefield. You will go through four sets of lights. At a single blinking light, turn right onto Route 116. Follow Route 116 for approximately 4 miles. You will see the High School on your right on the corner of Ridgebury Road. Parking is available at either end of the school.

From CT. via Interstate 95 North
Take the Norwalk Exit 15, go to Route 7 North to the end **. Turn right and then left on to the old Route 7. Continue North on Route 7 to the junction with Route 33 to Ridgefield. Turn left on Route 33 and continue into the center of Ridgefield. Follow the directions from *.

From CT via the Merritt Parkway
Exit at Norwalk, Exit 40, Route 7 North. Follow from ** above.

From New York, New Jersey, and Long Island
Take the Hutchinson Parkway North. After Rye, New York watch for Route 684 North (Brewster). Go to Exit 7 Purdys, Route 116. Turn right onto Route 116 East to Ridgefield. The High School is on your left approximately 1½ miles after entering Connecticut.

From Points North
Take I-84 West to Exit 3 onto Route 7 South. Take 7 South to the light at Route 35 (by Belzoni's Grill) and take a right. Follow Route 35 into Ridgefield. You will go through four sets of lights. At a single blinking light, the road bears to the left and becomes Main Street. Go through town until you see a stone church on your right. At this set of lights turn left onto Governor Street;°° proceed through the intersection half way up the hill, then look for the left hand entrance to the rear parking lot of the large brick building. The Playhouse is in the center of this "E" shaped building.

From Points South
Take I-684 to the Katonah/Cross River exit. Take a right off the ramp and follow Route 35 for about 10 miles until you come to the intersection of Route 35 and 33 in Ridgefield at the fountain.. Make a left onto Main Street, at the first traffic light turn right onto Governor Street and follow the directions from °°

The Playhouse entrance is actually in the back of the Richard E. Venus Municipal building also known as the Old High School. The rear parking lot is across from the baseball field and outdoor basketball courts. You can enter the parking lot from either Prospect Street or Governor Street.
