Jerry Steichen and the RSO hosted an open rehearsal for Ridgefield school children on 9/28/11. Over 80 students attended and had a lively evening listening to Beethoven's 5th Symphony!

The Ridgefield Symphony Jazz Trio, Arnie Gross, keyboards Kevin Callaghan, bass David Wonsey, drums performed at Ridgefield's SummerFest on July 16, 2011. Daniela Sikora, director of the Ridgefield Chorale, added some vocals to the hot jazz!

Dancing with the RSO was back by popular demand on April 9, 2011. 7 wonderful couples competed to raise money for the RSO, and Reed Whipple and Nancy Baldwin Andrews claimed the 2011 title. Many thanks to all who helped make the evening a resounding success!

The RSO presented an educational program in the Ridgefield elementary schools during April and May of 2011. Photos show the musicians visiting individual 4th grade classrooms, and the ensemble of 16 musicians conducted by RSO Assistant Conductor, Petko Dimitrov, in school-wide concerts presented during the first week of May.
